Oshkosh Earth Day Alleycat

If you like bikes and you like Earth than what better way to spend a Saturday than with an Earth Day alleycat. Oshkosh will be hosting it’s Earth Day race on April 21 and all proceeds will go towards the Oshkosh Boys and Girls club.  Not only will you have a chance to win some great prizes from great sponsors but you’ll be supporting a good cause.

Milwaukee Cranksgiving

Milwaukee will be having it’s Cranksgiving Alleycat race this weekend. All you’ll need is a bike, a bag, and about $15 to cover groceries at all the stops. All the proceeds go to the Hunger Task Force to help those in need. You’ll also have a chance to win a Scrambler frameset. Check out more details on their Facebook page.

Lockedcog 3 Year Anniversary Photos

LockedCog turns 3

It looks like Kris got a little help putting together a Lockedcog 3 year anniversary party. There will be an alleycat that begins around 5pm followed by a trick comp and Big Money Hustlaz premier at The Golden Bear. Fixed Gear Revolution 3

Beijing’s Fixed Gear Revolution 3 is only a few weeks away. This event has grown pretty big since its inception a few years back. There will be an alleycat, trick comp, and even some bike polo along with a few other fun games. Visit BeijingFG for all the details.

Modesto Touristacat 2, Aug. 13

Chapter 4 of Modesto’s 5 chapter alleycat series will be taking place on August 13. The Touristacat will be a timed scavenger hunt. All you will need is your bike and a camera. For more info on the series visit BLOB.

Dublin’s Fixed Gear Underground

I saw this pop up on The Foot Down earlier today. It’s a  great mini documentary covering the underground fixed scene in Dublin. There are some interviews with our friends at On Track Dublin and EighthInch rider Johnny O’Byrne. They discuss how the fixed scene started there and where it is today with people branching out into bike polo and FGFS. It’s great to see a strong urban cycling scene over there.
