Last week I got an email from our friends at Portland United. They recently built up some Scramblers with Julian’s, splined cranks, chainrings, and EighthInch riser bars. This past weekend they took their trio of new Scramblers up to the Cascadia Qualifier and took 3rd place. Congrats guys, see you in Milwaukee for the NAHBPC! Check out the full results here.

Jereme from Bomb Hills Speed Kills has always been a fan of EighthInch. When we were out at the the SF Bike Expo I had a chance to hang out with him for a while and ended up giving him a deal on some splined cranks. A container filled with re-stock parts just made it in this morning. Restocks include track cranks, bullhorn bars, track bars, Tessa wheelsets, splined cranksets, splined chainrings, pedals, toe clips, and toe straps. I know a lot of you have been waiting for these parts to make it in so stop by our store and pick some up!

It seems like our splined cranksets have quickly become one of our top sellers. I put together a little montage using photos customers sent to us and some I found around the web. It’s great to see them put to good use.

We thought we’d load a frame up with all of our new freestyle parts so we took a raw V3 prototype and threw on our new freestyle stem, bar, crank, and chainring. We also got in our new Julian V2 wheelset to test out and put some dual compound Fyxations on. We’ve bumped our new Julians up to a triple wall design for this year. We should getting the production ones in around a month or so. Enjoy.
