Scramblers in the snow.

I can’t remember the last time it was this cold out. -20 degrees with the windchill here in blistery Wisconsin. Along with the cold we also got about a foot and a half of snow over the past few days. Not exactly good cycling weather. With all the snow on the ground we thought we’d build a few Scramblers white tires to match. We have them for sale on our eBay store right now so check them out. You can customize them anyway you want them. The possibilities are endless. Check out more complete Scrambler builds by clicking the Scrambler Build tab above or click here.

Street Team In the Works

Greetings everyone. We’ve been pondering ways to get our name out to as many people as possible and came up with a great idea. Who better to promote us than our own satisfied customers. A lot of people out there want nice parts for their fixed gear but don’t know where to find them at a good price. With the help of you we can get our name out there for them.

It would work like any other street team. We would send out some free promotional materials; cards, flyers, stickers, etc for anyone who was interested. You could take them to your local hangouts where other riders tend to traffic and see if the business would let you put a stack out on their counter or wherever. You could pass them out to friends or do anything you want to help us get our name out there. In exchange for your services we would offer street team members first dibs on new incoming parts, special member only sales, and maybe even a few gifts along the way.

If this is something anyone would be interested in let us know. You can contact us at sales@eighthinch.com or just comment on this post. We’d love to hear back from you.

1/8th Inch Scrambler Bike Builds

We found a few pictures of our 1/8th Inch Scrambler frames built up on some cycling forums around the web. It’s exciting for us to see what people are making them into. If anyone else out there wants to send pictures us any pictures of their 1/8th Inch builds just email them too us and we can post them for you.

EighthInch.com

Earlier this year we designed and imported track frames under our newly founded “1/8th inch” brand name. The frames have been selling amazingly fast thanks to the high quality steel manufacturing and unbeatable price. The success of the frame has lead us to open our eighthinch.com website. The site will not only offer “1/8th inch” brand parts but a great selection on fixed gear and track parts.

We hope the site will allow us to sell outside of eBay and simplify online shopping for our customers. With a normal storefront customers will be able to add and remove items from their shopping cart and compare pricing without commiting to winning auctions. This will give more freedom in creating bulk orders without the confusion eBay tends to bring. Although the site is in it’s early stages of development it will be open to anyone interested in ordering.
