While we were enjoying our summer here, Christchurch, NZ was having their Winter Whack this past weekend. The turnout was good and it sounds like everyone had a great time. Tony Burnt was there taking some great photo’s. Be sure to stop by his site and check out more.

321 Polo Review

321 Polo posted a nice in depth review on our V2 Polo Mallet yesterday. Overall they seemed pretty happy with the product. Check out the review and other great polo coverage over at 321Polo.net.

We couldn’t be happier to be sponsoring the World Hardcourt Bike Polo Championship this year out in Berlin. With such a huge tournament we had to go a little over the top. We sent out a few sets of mallets for use at the pickup courts and tons of prizes including a set of the coveted golden mallets. Along with our new chainrings the newest order of parts included our EighthInch Polo Shafts. Made of AL6061 these shafts are built strong with a 19mm diameter to fit our EighthInch Polo Mallet. You can pick them up individually or in team bundles to save a few bucks. You can also get a kit which has a shaft and a head. For a limited time we’ll throw in a free t-shirt with all complete kits. Mallet Head Winners Announced!!!

It was a tough choice picking the winners of our mallet head contest, but we finally found our winners.

Team Mallet Winner:

Brandon and his team’s sad looking mallets won the team competition. They get a 3 pack of mallet heads, 3 pint glasses, 3 EighthInch tools, and 3 t-shirts.

Individual Mallet Winner

I don’t even know what to say about Ryo’s mallet. He definitely earned a new mallet. This head was worn beyond playability. He wins a new mallet, pint glass, tool, and t-shirt.

Don’t Forget!!! Our free mallet giveaway ends on Monday!!!

Time to get those mallet photo’s in. The person and team with the most beat up mallet gets a brand new mallet and prize pack from EighthInch. We’ll be reviewing the photos on Monday so get them in before the weekend is over. As of now there still aren’t any team shots so get a team photo up there and you’ll have a good chance to win. You can see all the details below!

Here are the rules:

Take a picture of your most used and abused mallet and post it to our facebook page. We’ll choose whoever has the saddest, ugliest, beat up mallet and replace theirs with a new EighthInch one. We’ll be sending out a prize pack to the best team photo of mallets and one to the best individual photo. The mallets must be ones actually used from polo, no sad pictures of soda cans on sticks please.

We’ll decide the winner when we come in next Monday, 5/24 and ship them out right away.
